Tarot Tuesday- Thinking Positively!!

Tarot Tuesday!! This week's reading uses the Angel Tarot deck by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine and the Trust Your Vibes Oracle card deck by Sonya Choquette. 

The Star, a major arcana card (and therefore a significant life theme), tells us to have patience and look to the future with optimism. Archangel Jophiel is the one to call on for assistance in thinking beautiful thoughts to create your highest vibrational future. The Oracle card tells us to let go of old stories and stop re-creating the same pain and misery when running commentary in your head and when connecting to others. Re-examine what you tell yourself or others regarding finances, health, luck, and resources such as support and knowledge. What self-limiting statements are you making and where are these beliefs rooted? Is it a story that someone else told you and you chose to believe? Remember that you are limitless and only need to ask your Angels and Guides for assistance. Keep in mind that you are not a victim of circumstance, but rather are experiencing what you have drawn to you through the Law of Attraction or what your Soul set up prior to this lifetime in order for you to learn. If you are already changing the script in your head, know that this is a big thumbs up from the Universe and to keep up this healing work! We are all connected and by raising your vibration, you cause a ripple effect that goes out and heals the world.

Tarot Tuesday- Temporary Delays

Tarot Tuesday! The deck is The Victorian Fairy Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone, artwork by Gary Lippincott. The 8 of Autumn (Pentacles) reversed. This card is about mastering a craft, being immersed in your studies, heart and soul, and truly enjoying your work. Work does not have to mean what you do to pay the bills. Since the card is reversed, this indicates that something may seem to be getting in the way of your studies or work, and this could lead to frustration. This delay is temporary, so take this time to rest and contemplate. What seems like a roadblock is often Divine Intervention.

Tarot Tuesday- A Leap of Faith Lies Ahead

It's time for your weekly reading (today through Monday)!  The cards are the Angel Tarot by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.

In the past position, we have the 5 of Fire (5 of Wands), indicating drama, conflicting interests, and feeling stuck in the middle. Mercury has gone direct today (yay!), but was retrograde for a few weeks, making communication difficult and plans go awry. It also brings up people/patterns from the past. All of this can leave you feeling like you've been put through the wringer. However, it does all serve a purpose. There are lessons to review.

In the present position, we have Balance (Temperence)- a major arcana card that advices us to work with others in cooperation, to take time to contemplate and integrate the information we have collected, and to wait before forging ahead.  This calls for rest, and just as the name of the card suggests, balancing one's thoughts, emotions, and needs along with those of others. Your children, spouse, and family (including a chosen or work family) may have needs. Make sure that everyone, yourself included, gets what she/he needs. Archangel Zadkiel is on this card to remind us of our Divine heritage; that we have a calling (or 2, or…) in this life, but are also made in the Creators image and are worthy of care and attention. You have a unique and special role to fulfill and the world would not be the same without you.

In the future position, we have The Dreamer. This card represents the beginning of a journey; one that requires a leap of faith, knowing you are fully supported along that journey.  Though you may be traveling for the holiday this weekend (for those in the US, it is Independence Day on the 4th), this journey is more of a spiritual one, the beginning of a new adventure or chapter in your life. Archangel Metatron is the Archangel who watches over children and in this case, the inner child who is starting fresh. The unicorn on the card represents purity, innocence, and wisdom. Though it's a venture into the unknown, you carry with you lessons from the past. 

Tarot Tuesday- Turning Over a New Leaf

Tarot Tuesday! This week, I used the Victorian Fairy Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone, art by Gary Lippincott The first card is called "awakening". It is in the past position. This indicates that you have reflected on lessons you have learned and what you would like to change. It indicates that you looked at yourself with true eyes- those of compassion, that know we are meant to fail at some things.

In the present position, we have the Knight of summer (Knight of cups). This card indicates that due to your self-reflection, right now you are full of optimism on your spiritual quest. You are seeking to connect with the Divine and are joyful in the pursuit. It also indicates you feel full of spiritual purpose.

In the future position, we have the three of summer (three of cups). This card indicates a celebration; most likely, a celebration of the changes you are implementing. This card also tells us that you are looking forward to spending time with friends. It does not have to be a special occasion for this to happen, just the connection you have is a joyful thing for the Soul. Personally, I had just been thinking about asking friends to join me for tea. Just because… 

Tarot Tuesday (even though it's Wednesday)

It's Tarot Tuesday… at least it was yesterday on the Facebook Fan Page! The deck is Angel Tarot by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. Today's reading has three cards – past, present, and future. 

In the past position we have the Knight of air. This represents things happening quickly, using creative solutions to problem-solve, and the need to curb impulsive behavior. On May 20, this card came up under the advice section and referred to getting physical exercise. It does refer back to that reading.

Under the present position, we have the Lovers card. This card refers to making heart felt decisions, healing, and soul relationships. It is telling me that the exercise you have started or are considering is leading to physical healing. Yoga, especially, balances the chakras, strengthens, and increases flexibility. This card is also telling us that Soul relationships, especially friendships, are healing. Soul relationships refer to those that are a deep connection related to past lives.

In the future position, we have the Empress – she nurtures those around her, creative projects, and herself. She is inspiration. Mindful exercise, especially that which we enjoy, raises our Vibes, and leads to nurturing and self-care. This allows the mind and creativity to work more efficiently. In turn, this leads to giving birth to your dreams. Remember that meditation is also a form of "exercise" for the mind, connects you to the Source, and therefore guidance for your true path.

As I was meditating before this meeting, I saw Mercury, messenger of the gods, flying through the sky amongst the stars, telling me that Mercury in retrograde is acutely affecting us. It is currently in Gemini, so information is coming to us quickly. As the first card tells us, be sure to think things through before acting on all of this information. The second card tells us that decisions are significant, as it is a major arcana card. The third card follows with its significance, as it is also a major arcana card.

So, choosing health leads to self-nurturing and the nurturing of our dreams. Continue to take care of yourselves!

Tarot Tuesday- Wishes and Healing

For this week's Tarot Tuesday reading, I used the Victorian Fairy Tarot deck by Lunaea Weatherstone and Gary A. Lippincott and the Life Purpose Oracle card deck by Doreen Virtue. This reading is for today and will take you through Monday. The messages are for whoever is reading this right now.

These 2 cards are in the Past position. In this case, it just means the past related to the situation, so it could refer to something recent or in the more distant past. The Ace of Autumn (The Ace of Pentacles) reversed. In the reversed position, it indicates that there is some sort of block in this area, so it tells us that there was some insecurity or negative thinking surrounding finances, support, and/or time. The oracle card tells us that children play a very important part in our Life's Purpose. This can mean our offspring, those children we've adopted, or those whom we teach or care for in some other capacity. You may have been a healer that worked with children previously. This can also refer to projects that are "our babies" and animals that are part of the family (notice the lamb and lion in the picture). 

For me, I used to be a pediatric Occupational Therapist, but stopped working in the field full time when I had trouble functioning due to Hashimoto's thyroiditis (much better now, thank you! :) ). Also, knowing the full story of this spread, this refers to my worry that I would not have enough time to add my current work to my schedule since I had a baby and a 6 year old when it started calling very, very loudly. "But, taking care of my children is my Life's Purpose", I responded nearly as loudly… at first. ;) "Yes, that's one of your Purposes.", the Universe answered… :)

Also, it's very interesting that originally, I was going to use a small Tarot deck and my new Cherub Angel Oracle cards for Children (by Doreen Virtue) and then changed my mind. I laughed when I saw that children were mentioned in the first position, as well as a "negative" card (deciding against). :) 

The Tarot card in the Present position is the 9 of Summer (the Nine of Cups). This is the Wish card! This means you are getting exactly what you asked for, that things are going your way, and there are plenty of reasons to celebrate. If this doesn't make sense to you, start counting your blessings. What are you grateful for? You'll start to see just how good you have it. And if you are still confused, it could be a period of growth for your highest good that may not mesh with what you thought you wanted. When you ask your Soul what it truly wants, the answer is quite simple: peace, joy, freedom. You came here to learn and the grow. Keep in mind that both Mercury (communication) and Neptune (dream states, spirituality, and mysticism) are both retrograde now, causing more confusion than usual. Note that in the Nine of Summer, one of the flowers is the Moon flower, for dreams.

The oracle card tells us that you are safe as you change from one career (or life phase) to another. It can also refer to expanding your previous roles. This means that you do actually have the support and security of the Higher Realms. What has been calling to you is not "just a whim" and your joy is celebrated and encouraged by the Divine.  What you are attracted to is also attracted to you. Let go of fears about things not working out, because they are indeed working out beautifully. Let go and Trust.

In the Future position, we have the 6 of Autumn (Six of Pentacles) and the Music card.  Both cards mention healing. In the Fairy Tarot card, a Fairy has gone to a healer and accepted her help rather than doing it all alone. Both the healer and the heal-ee receive benefits. The one doing the healing gets to use her gifts and fulfill her purpose to help and the one receiving the healing gets not just physical mending, but the safety and security of being supported and cared for. This can also refer to financial gifts, either giving and receiving in other decks. Though that is a factor here, the healing benefits and joyfully connecting with others is the overlying message. Focus on Service and accepting the help you are offered and all else follows. Listening to your Higher Self always leads to joy and further wholeness whether you are giving or receiving. 

Notice that the Angel in the first card is playing a flute and refers to healing as well. So, in the past, you denied these gifts, but in the present and future, they are yours. Music that you enjoy, no matter the type, raises your vibration. When you raise your vibration, you heal. When you heal, when you share your joy from this higher point, you send out a ripple effect into the world. Did you watch the TV series "Heroes"? "Save the Cheerleader, save the World". It's a similar message here: Heal Yourself, Heal the Planet". We are all interconnected. So, by accepting your Life's Purpose joyfully, you both give and receive healing.

Recently, an amazing belly dancer named Jill Parker (speaking of heroes… she is my belly dance hero! :) ) taught a workshop here in Pittsburgh and she had us listen to music while lying down with our eyes closed to really see, feel, and experience the music before jumping ahead with trying to figure out what to do with our bodies to it. During one of the pieces, I saw water with ripples moving out from the center with the music. What I heard to go with that was "ripple effect". When you are experiencing music joyfully, especially through dance, you are healing yourself and also sending out healing vibrations. This is the message here: that you are On Purpose (or on your way) and this allows you to both give and receive healing.

Tarot Tuesday- Highs and Lows

Tarot Tuesday!! This is your reading for today through Monday. The Tarot deck is by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine and the Oracle cards are by Sonia Choquette. I used the positions of past, present and future. A Tarot card and Oracle card both sit in those position.

In the recent past, you were able to finally see the truth of a situation in a detached manner. Your higher self has urged you to make long term plans based on this new insight.

 

Currently, you have an insurgence of new emotions. You are experiencing both high and low emotions as you continue to process the new information and experiences that have resulted from the new insight you gleaned in the recent past. Mercury will go retrograde soon and clearly we are already feeling that. Connect with your nature guides to stay grounded.

                                                        

Towards the weekend, you have a decision to make about whether to stay home and conserve energy or to take a risk going out in order to have fun. The sooner you make that decision, the sooner you can look forward to your choice and not waste energy in limbo.

Tarot Tuesday- Get Moving!

Today's Tarot Tuesday reading is also using oracle cards for further clarification. This was really fun! The tarot cards are by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. The oracle cards are "Trust Your Vibes" by Sonia Coquette. As always, the reading applies from today until Monday. It is for anyone who reads this post on the fan page or the blog.

The first position is the current situation and includes the first two cards pictured. The first card is the Knight of Earth – this indicates that you are taking action in earthly matters. You are in charge and are steady, capable, and dependable in whatever you are taking on. The second card – share a breath – indicates that you are very in sync with those in your care or under your direction. Breathing consciously is very grounding, which goes perfectly with our Knight of Earth. 

The second position is advice. The first card is the Knight of Air. The Knight of Air acts quickly and uses creative solutions and thinks outside the box for any challenges he encounters. The second card suggest that you exercise in order to raise your vibration and clear the way for those creative solutions to make their way into your field of awareness. Any exercise that calls to you is beneficial in this and many other ways, but if you are considering something new or something you have not done in a a while, this is a sign that you should definitely try that. Also, this suggests that you act more quickly as the Knight of Earth stays in the planning stage for a very long time, but the Knight of Air often acts without a plan. The advice is to leave the planning stage and enter the acting stage based on your plans. Creative activity, such as painting, drawing, sewing, singing, acting, dancing, etc. are also recommended for grounding, centering, and connecting with your higher self for increased flow and the opportunities to be aware of said creative solutions. 

The third position is outcome. The first card is the eight of Air, which indicates that any feelings of entrapment are illusions and there is actually a way out within your grasp. By using the creative solutions mentioned above, you will break out of any self-imposed limitations. Think carefully about what those might be. The second card is body talk. This card indicates that you can tune in to what your body is telling you in order to navigate your way out. When thinking about possibilities, is your chest tight or does it feel open and joyful? Does your stomach churn, or is it calm and radiating confidence? Yes's expand the body and no's contract the body, so those sensations give you your answers.

In summary, this week is about being grounded through breath and exercise in order to find creative solutions. (Yoga is an excellent option using breath and body). Stay in tune with your body in order to deeply connect with your angels and guides. 

Tarot Tuesday- Trust the Grand Plan

Here is your reading (whomever is reading = you) for today through Monday!

Current Situation- 6 of Fire (Wands)- This card showed up as the outcome a couple of weeks ago and now we have it as the current situation, so we really have come full circle. You are feeling victorious, perhaps even in the public eye or in the eyes of others, and the work you have done is paying off in an internal, self-rewarding way. It really does strike me that this card is related to the former reading, so take a look back and think about what internal work you have done for yourself.

Your Expectations- The Sun- Again, victory is mentioned. You are feeling good about something and expect to reap those rewards. The path to enlightenment is clearing as you dig away at your psyche's layers.  Here comes the sun! (doo-doo-doo-doo) If this feels ironic to see such a bright card given your  current state, remember that experiencing the darkness allows the light to enter. You know that by allowing your feeling to surface and doing spiritual work, you pave the way for brighter days.

Hidden Influences- 5 of Water (Cups)- You've experienced a loss and are in the throws of really feeling that loss. Be sure to grieve properly, but also remember what you still have and that there is always a Bigger reason for loss. Trust that you learn from loss and grow as a result. Even losing parts of yourself that you know no longer serve you can be difficult. Embrace the resistance and your grip will dissolve. There is always something to be thankful for, and remembering that is helping you move forward. The Full Moon is in Scorpio tomorrow night, so we are uncovering mysteries and transforming ourselves as only Scorpio can. Full moons are a time of release, and Scorpio is embracing the shadow self and rising from the ashes once you allow yourself to burn.

Advice- High Priestess- Pay attention to the hidden information ^^, especially that which comes to you in dreams and flashes of insight. Trust your intuition and be patient when looking to the future. Take a broader perspective; see things from the Soul's Eye View. What you valued even a couple of weeks ago (when setting intentions during the new moon), may no longer hold value. Release, let things dissolve, and let the dust settle before planning far into the future. Sit with this. Observe what is left once you've let go of what was holding you back. Are you holding on to ideas and feelings about what you thought was supposed to be important to you, but doesn't really hold water in the grand scheme of things? Make the connection with your Higher Self and notice your feelings without judgement. Emotions are guideposts to let you know which way to turn on your path. They aren't meant to be suppressed or ignored. Though society acts as the collective Ego and tells you being "too emotional" is wrong or bad for you, really they are saying they don't want to do the work of looking at their own feelings because it is hard, it is "inconvenient", and they would rather do other things that the material world "values". Honor your Spiritual nature. You are a Spiritual being having a human experience. The whole point in you being here is for your Soul to learn. Ask your Soul what she-he wants to learn through this human experience. To accept love? To grow and trust life?

Outcome- The Knight of Air (Swords)- by not rushing in and making a plan from the Big Picture, you speed along to the results you _actually_ want, not the results you think you want. Use creativity and heal. You'll live creatively because your Soul's true nature is that of an Artist's.
